Mr. Pierre Chao is a Founding Partner at Renaissance Strategic Advisors, bringing over three decades of management consulting, investment banking and policy expertise in the aerospace/defense industry. Throughout his career, he has been a trusted advisor to senior corporate, government and financial decision makers on key strategic issues - from major investments to mergers and acquisitions to strategic and policy choices. Prior, he was a Senior Fellow and Director of Defense-Industrial Initiatives at CSIS, a non-partisan defense and foreign policy think tank. Before joining CSIS, he was a Managing Director and Senior Aerospace/Defense Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston responsible for following the U.S. and global aerospace/defense industry. Prior to joining CSFB, he held positions at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Smith Barney, JSA International and in the New York and London offices of Prudential-Bache Capital Funding. Mr. Chao holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Management Science from M.I.T. Sessions
