Ms. Joyce Myers is the Data/System Architecture Team Lead, Alta Via Consulting LLC, a cBEYONData company. With a focus on the underlying processes and associated data coupled with the right people (talent), technology and organizational change, Ms. Myers is part of implementing the Army’s Digital Transformation Strategy and subordinate effort to converge and modernize Army Enterprise Business Systems to improve tactical, strategic, and audit readiness and enable auditability to maintain transparency, traceability, and accountability.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Myers was the Chief Data and Analytics Officer for the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) from 2020-2022 where she established an overarching Data and Analytics program addressing command wide data and information management strategy, governance, control, policy development, digital transformation, and effective data exploitation. Prior to this she served as the AMCOM Secretary of the General Staff (SGS) from 2018 - 2020.
Ms. Myers served as an Active Duty Soldier with the U.S. Army from 1984-2004 in the logistics field with various military assignments. She supported various Army contracts in support of Army data from 2005-2010. In 2010, she entered the government as a Department of the Army Civilian and recently retired from federal civilian service in July 2022.
She holds Associate Degree in Structural Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Logistics Management), and a Master of Science in Education. Additionally, Ms. Myers holds a Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Systems, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is a SAP TERP 10 Certified Associate. Ms. Myers’ is active in her community and is currently the Chapter Lead for the Huntsville Women in Data Chapter and the Travis Manion Foundation Northern Alabama Chapter.
